What is the difference between rubber and plastic stamps?
What is the difference between a wooden rubber stamp and a clear acrylic stamp? Are they supposed to give a different effect, be used for totally different crafts, or are they generally the same thing, just different materials used to make the stamp itself?
People seem to love the clear stamps, but I can’t get a good image with them. It’s great to see exactly where you’re stamping, but mine turn out fuzzy.
There’s so much to like about the clear ones, except I CAN’T DO IT!
I’ve been stamping for a very long time and have a couple hundred stamps easily, but I sure can’t use the acrylic. And the ones I have other people have used just fine. It’s me. Get a couple and try them, but I’ll stick to rubber.
