Kids footwear brand makes leap down under
For parents wanting their child to put his or her best foot forward, the launch of the Australian and New Zealand website for iconic children’s footwear brand, See Kai Run, is a giant step in the right direction.
Until now, most Australians had to be content to covet See Kai Runs from a distance on the pages of celebrity magazines where famous offspring of mega stars such as Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and Tobey MdGuire were photographed wearing their hip, happening shoes.Now the footwear brand has gone live with a new website for Australia and New Zealand, with stock releases timed to coincide with the seasons down under.
Just where does this much-desired footwear brand have its roots ?We all know the old saying that necessity is the mother of invention. Seattle mom, Cause Haun, couldn’t find toddlers’ footwear that was both functional and fabulous. She wanted soft-soled, comfortable footwear that would allow her own energetic child to explore in comfort and in style.
During a visit to China, Haun saw some shoes that sparked her imagination, so she brought some back to the US and sold them in a flash.She launched her company named after her own toddler, Kai, in 2004 and soon everyone was talking about her amazing footwear in virtual chatboards across the States.In its first year of operation, the business grew by over 400% and now offers three distinct footwear ranges, the “Smaller’ (0-18 months), ‘See Kai Run’ (3 – 8 years) and the ‘Eleven’ Collection (8 – 11 years).
